This course is for anyone with recruitment responsibility. In it, we explore the background of legislation that affects the hiring process, and focus on how inclusive best-practice can be applied at all stages of the recruitment cycle. The course uses our unique drama scenes and interactive activities to support you to lead an effective hiring process for your organisation that attracts and appoints a diverse pool of top talent.

By the end of this course you’ll be able to:

• Identify where discrimination could occur under the Equality Act 2010 legislation and how to differentiate between positive discrimination and positive action.
• Recognise opportunities for inclusive processes and actions at all stages of the recruitment cycle.
• Respond appropriately to disclosures of neurodiversity or disability during an interview scenario.
• Recognise how you can become more consciously inclusive when recruiting.
